Hello to all!
I started this blog back in the fall with the intention of filling it with daily reports, quips and musings and obviously have done none of the above!
In the spirit of following through on my good intentions, I will attempt to re-start this missive!
I also need to figure out the picture uploading thing, so bear with me if there are no pictures for awhile.
Anyway, as those close to us know, we are still in the "great wait" for our referral from China. When we started this process the wait time from when your paperwork is logged in at the CCAA (China Center for Adoption Affairs), was 6 - 7 months. It is now 11 - 12 months. Our paperwork was logged in on July 13. We are hoping that we get a referral in June. May would be great, but I'm not holding my breath!
In the meantime, we have finished refinishing all the hardwood floors and have painted the baby's room. I promise pictures as soon as I figure it out!
We are scraping off wallpaper and painting the den/office this weekend.

It's hard to keep up on an "adoption" blog during the wait....we were in the 3rd batch of April referrals that was the "end of year present" (LID 4/22) and received our daughter on February 21st! Your day will come, and oh what a day that will be!!
Hi, I found you through a comment on my sister's blog. Can you get Picaso? It is a great program for uploading to your blog. You mentioned you used a Mac, so I don't know if they have it for that. Also, Flickr and photobucket make it easy...Good Luck!
